About Alex Monaco
Law is a complex subject. Most people aren’t trained lawyers, so struggle to understand it fully. This isn’t helped by the continuing use by many lawyers of ‘legalese’ – the use of legal terms that the average person doesn’t understand.
This in turn creates a barrier to the non-lawyer individual who struggles to take full advantage of our legal systems.
At Monaco Solicitors, we are striving to make employment law accessible to all, not just though information which is free and easy to understand, but also with the latest technology that is easy to use.
With the help of artificial intelligence, the potential for empowering people who are not lawyers has really increased.
As well as being an experienced Employment Solicitor, I am trained in data science and helped build Grapple Law – our sister AI law firm that launched in 2025 – as well as its ‘Virtual Lawyer’ predecessor which won the 2021 Law Society Award for Tech & Innovation.
In my role as Chairman of Monaco Solicitors, I provide ongoing support with strategy and important decisions. In that way I continue to enjoy the positive team spirit and working with the team who make all of our achievements possible.
